Drudkh Songs Of Grief And Solitude
Voto:
The Black Metal genre has been added for archival purposes, so that the album can be found in the Black section, alongside the others by the group.

Happy New Year. A remarkable review. Reviewing bootlegs makes perfect sense, and ignoring those of your favorite band is equivalent to being a fool. They don’t hold much value live: they are appreciated because the stage presence is fascinating, but nothing more. I’ve listened to live Maiden and even they didn’t impress me; Deep Purple, even their old stuff, does better, as do Symphony X, etc.

Reviewing a Slovak brutal band already deserves the highest praise... combine brutality, gore, and technique in your reviews: you should play. It would turn out to be something great.

I still can't feel it; there's a difference with the industrial inflection present in Antichrist Superstar, but it doesn't count as dance; the only thing of dance/new wave is the cover of Tainted Love, but that's obvious. Dance is only present in the remixes of Remix and Repent, in some moments of Mechanical Animal...

Sorry, but Marilyn Manson has nothing to do with dance new wave.

Thank you again. I'm not crazy about these sounds either, but something good can always come out of every sub-genre.

thank you all. no, it’s not depressing, and it’s poorly produced, so the screaming can be heard but doesn’t stand out as it should. in the coming days, I’ll talk a bit about these sounds, and there will be better bands. I would mention Aborym "Fire walk with us!" (full of techno, acid, industrial elements) and Red Harvest "Sick transit gloria mundi." black industrial is not a depressing sub-genre; rather, it has combative and revolutionary aspirations against the system (like the cyberpunk culture it sometimes draws inspiration from).

It seems to me that many, with all due respect, haven't understood anything about pop; there is also classy and well-made pop beyond what MTV offers (see the review of Tears for Fears below). This one belongs to the MTV melting pot, but it shouldn't be considered a myth just because it's above Avril (what a challenge) Lavigne: being better than Aguilera doesn't mean you're on Prince's level. Biased.

As a debut, you were perfect. Congratulations!

Damn, I missed it; I'm downloading something of theirs right now; thorough and very clear review, really helpful also from a historical perspective. Thank you!
