A curiosity: who told you that I discovered the genre ten minutes ago? Who told you that I’m 15 years old?

Yes, yes, go ahead and listen to "the" Mayhem again, it seems you’re missing the basics, and please don't forget "the" Burzum, otherwise black metal (but why black? Will it be done by African Americans?) will complain without your deep contribution ahahahahahaha!!!

Listening to a genre for twenty years doesn’t mean you understand it; you may be older than me, but clearly, you're not in the right place if you don't realize that a serious reviewer doesn’t step into a r. to senselessly trash a colleague. Maybe you should read my other reviews before calling me a "rookie"; anyway, I forgive you for the obscenities you’ve said, you’ll grow up.

Yes, memento, I checked a few more times after that idiot commented above you, and I also looked for the official site: if they are women, they really camouflage well! Jokes aside, I also searched for "le sigh" but haven't found anything yet, really, they probably exist. I don't see what this review has of approximate: the space-time coordinates are there, the quotes... it's not my intention to offend anyone who thinks differently from me, and anyone can attest to my peacefulness within the site, being available and respectful of others' comments. So alefearsatan, I will limit myself to responding like this: the citation of Venom was unnecessary for various reasons, listing which would be superfluous since it doesn't seem that you understand much about black metal: I GENTLY INVITE YOU NOT TO ENTER MY REVIEWS ANYMORE AND LEAVE USELESS COMMENTS THAT DO NOT SERVE TO STIMULATE ANY DEBATE. SEE YOU NEVER AGAIN. Regards.

Hello and thank you memento; no, the sighs are definitely from men, there's no doubt about it based on the names and the photos. I have no idea who the three women you're talking about are, I'm not familiar with Japanese music. The album doesn't seem that off-key to me, in fact, this strain of black was much more precise and orderly compared to the average, but maybe it's just me being influenced by all the subsequent listens: after xasthur and nortt, everything seems more organized and polished! Bye!

Hi sfascia; nostalgia for a certain era and a certain way of playing extreme metal between the end of the eighties and the beginning of the nineties; the black like Celtic Frost, that is linked to thrash and mid-tempos, typical of some bands like Khold, the new Darkthrone; obviously, Celtic Frost didn't play black metal, but they were a model.

Thanks to everyone; psychopompe, I'll respond right away: the lyrics of Sigh are not against Catholicism, but they draw upon aspects of local religion, citing stories of demons and evil spirits, in a version similar to the paganism that proliferates in black metal besides the satanist trend (anyway, it was written in the review, read well towards the end...) Slavonic metal exists, it is the term used for the black metal scene that pertains to Eastern countries; it’s a raw black metal, often epic in flavor, with themes related to politics, nationalism, or Indo-European pagan religion, featuring a strong presence of keyboards, even if it does not refer to symphonic black metal. Graveland is the leading band.

So: the review is really beautiful, comprehensive, and well done; it reminds me a bit of the one for xasthur telepatic that you've already done, at least in terms of structure. I haven't listened to the album, but I will; from what I've heard, I'm sure I'll like it. Bye!
