It's a shame because it seemed to me that at first, the user Ezekiel was willing to discuss his ideas; now I see that he's just a boy who complained for pages about not having a job when he then spends his time not responding on Debaser... if his parents had given him an education, he wouldn't be like this now. But they'll probably be like him too... bye star, I won't bother you anymore with the posts.

I meant to say that I don't understand the connection between homosexuality and the decline of the Romans and the Greeks; you evidently know: what is it?

Good movie, nothing incredible, a good compromise between addressing important themes and selling a product to a mass audience.
@ EZEKIEL: I honestly don't understand the connection between decadence in the Romans and Greeks and the emergence of homosexuality; you said you wanted to speak civilly, presenting your arguments... would you respond to me?

I honestly don't understand the connection between tearing down an artist and almost giving them top marks... moreover, reviewing the Complete Works of such a prolific author... damn, even Citati wouldn't do it in ten lines!

mmm I had almost written it myself, I just needed to send it... but I’m happy that someone else appreciates this album. The judgment on the quality of the record is risky only because there are other high-level people involved, like Zashur, Nortt, etc., but it’s still spot on: this is most likely the darkest album released since the early '90s. Well done!

I don’t understand why you emphasize so strongly that this is a historical film... apart from the fact that this is clearly NOT a medieval film, if you care so much about its historical accuracy (technically it’s still late antiquity); and furthermore, the very message of the film as you have stated it (“we understand that it also wants to make us realize how violence, meanness, wickedness, and fanaticism (both religious and otherwise) are certainly not inventions of modern man”) is not historical at all, because no one at the time would have ever considered religious wars as clashes between barbarians. Good review anyway.

excellent review, although I don’t agree with the idea of a Burzum who unconsciously distances himself from the rest of metal, because from his words in interviews it comes across that he has a greater awareness than it might seem. I see that all the commentators snub "Suicide in Dark Serenity," which in my opinion is the best work... I'll think about it.

I think you haven't quite grasped the spirit behind black metal: it's a genre for sociopaths, but these individuals don't necessarily have to go around stabbing people in alleys... if you go out with the crew on Saturday night and hit up a happy hour with a girl, you're not suited for this genre; that doesn't exclude the possibility of having a girlfriend, having sex, or having friends. Malefic's hatred is directed towards all those degenerate forms of human relationships typical of MTV, which are quite common in those circles, not against relationships in general (he never claimed to not know anyone or to hate everyone in the world). The "blackster" is an extraordinary person, grim, but not shapeless like you say, nor anonymous: otherwise, you fall into the typical vicious cycle of this kind of reasoning: if you play black, you must necessarily slit chickens in rituals like Amanda Knox, or else you're not true, but if you do slit chickens, you're vulgar, and then you're a poser... listening to a genre like this means rebelling against form, not content: just eliminate all those teen drama elements à la Moccia that you see circulating.

I quote Fenrir, the cover (which for me is more ironic than literal) is cult, not true: true are the snowy landscapes, the hellish artwork and the bands with corpsepaint in the foreground.
