Adriano Celentano Yuppi Du

Before a new discussion is created on a comparison that hasn't been made but will surely be misinterpreted (metallarobionico has already done so), let me clarify that I have absolutely NOT said that Celentano is greater than Jodorowsky!!!!!!!! Reread carefully.
The Chemical Brothers We Are The Night

SACRILEGIO!!!!!! Burst generator doesn't have the explosive charge of Chemical? What the hell kind of stereo system do you have? Did it come with the detergent? This track will get you off your chair and hang you from the ceiling! We Are The Night, on the other hand, is the best of the Chemical duo! Perfect sounds, the most successful psychedelia of their career (it's terrifyingly high quality!) the deafening and stunning sounds of "A Modern Midnight Conversation," the straight kick of "Do It Again," the overwhelming and wild celebration of modern psychedelia mixed with 80s sounds in the Title Track! Do you think the album lacks POWER? Well... it doesn't PUMP like Come With Us, but that doesn't mean it sounds like AIR! The power is all there! Let’s not say heresies ;-)

No no, Pixar is fantastic. Except for that half-assed CARS: Revved Up. I just thought this was a "bad copy" of Pixar. I should have been clearer ;-)

FOR POLETTI: They should export abroad the scene of Celentano driving around with his wife in the tractor attached to the bed! Instead of importing from America to Italy SHIT MOVIES!! Movies with American life models that don't belong to us, generations of American youth that don't belong to us, American philosophies that don't belong to us! And we, like IDIOTS, want to copy the American style! Celentano STOMPING GRAPES to music!!! This is the simplicity that makes Italy unique! Cinema is not just made of "Bicycle Thieves" but also of these wholesome comedies, simple, genuine, and with a character that the world should envy us for style, charisma, personality, and verve. Enough with the philosophy about cinema at all costs.
Mel Gibson Apocalypto

But where the hell do you see all this hyper-violence? Have you ever seen a Fulci or Joe D'Amato movie? Do you say these are directors of surreal films? And what about Apocalypto? Isn't that surreal? Movies like Hostel and this one have been labeled as extremely gory! Gory for whom? For those who have never seen a gory movie!

Celentano's films become bad if you take away the character of Celentano. It is he, simply playing himself, with his style and charisma, who has turned these mediocre movies into genuine cult classics of Italian comedy. Celentano is simply great!

JakeChambers: "And then, excuse me, why start with number 2? It's a bit odd, all of this... Why not review the first one while you're at it? I'm not aware that there's already a review." I wanted to start with the worst! :-)
Luciano Salce Fantozzi

"Paolo Villaggio is still alive, and he is a Genius! On par with Totò! Indeed... after De Curtis, Villaggio represents the last mask in Italy!" - Poletti... could you tell me where it says that "Villaggio is the greatest and Totò is a piece of shit?" You're right... a jerk pops up... and then ALL the others arrive. But really ALL of them! No one excluded. NO ONE.

"The war of the Marx brothers" is a diminutive of "the blitzkrieg of the Marx brothers" maybe you can say that I got the title wrong :))

Poletti, are you a disgusting traditionalist? I hope not! I’m a "kid" who collects Chaplin and Keaton, and has watched Duck Soup 26 times. And yes... I am indeed a strange kid. What do I do with the films of Alejandro Jodorowsky? Damn... I should go see Christmas on a Cruise! Sorry for playing with the cult classics. I won't do it again. Jerry Lewis is one of a kind, Jim Carrey at first was just a copy... but then... over time he managed to become more cartoonish in his expressions; perhaps that’s what the critics can’t digest. Making more faces than Lewis doesn’t make you better than Lewis, but I believe Carrey is a pleasant exception to this rule. Sometimes students surpass their masters in certain aspects. But the masters remain masters. Totò and Villaggio? One is funny, the other makes you piss yourself laughing. My review isn’t of "Fantozzi 2000: The Cloning" but of "Fantozzi," which I saw about... over 20 years ago? well... how sad it is to be called kids but not be one anymore! How I wish I could go back. Hi Grandpa!
