Opaltide.... let's not say nonsense!
This is a great movie and from your comment, I don't think you've seen it.

Deca's records are indeed quite rare, especially the early vinyls that are worth a lot. However, the latest CDs can be requested directly from the record label, which has excellent mail distribution.

Even back then in Italy, there were artists doing things far more remarkable and important than Litfiba, who already had their noses in the air with "Desaparecido." The fact is, as usual, those who rise to the surface first get the glory and applause, even when they owe their success to those who remain in the shadows and are only remembered after they're dead.

Dan Black is a great singer for me, and I love his frantic way of moving and making unexpected moves. With Planet Funk, he contributed a lot... with Servant, he sang that beautiful piece "The Orchestra".... this latest album leaves me perplexed because it lacks an original sound and personality.

Can I say it's a load of crap? Whenever I read about these bands, I always think of Evanescence, who are the biggest music hoax of the last 10 years.

I definitely don't consider it the best album by the Dead, partly because it leans too heavily on the medievalist and revitativist turn, and partly because it feels emotionally flat. "Black Sun" is beautiful.... which I adore.... but overall there are at least three other Perry&Gerrard albums that far surpass it.

One of the most overrated bands commercially and the most "fake" on a formal level. A classic example of a group built in a boardroom, which, when seen live, shows significant shortcomings compared to what is heard on their records. The singer, in particular, shows her limitations live. Musically, their songs are a pastiche of hard sounds and operatic melodies that can only appeal to a teenage audience that missed the post-punk of the '80s. What a shame!...

One of the most representative albums of classical music from the '80s, which does not embrace any fashion or genre, yet is full of references ranging from the gothic to the dark, from medievalism to folk. An essential album and perhaps the best testament of the Anglo-Australian duo.

Here in Italy, I have hundreds of music contacts and know many collectors and rock connoisseurs. I racked my brain and I believe that only about 15% of them have this record at home. Aside from the fact that the Eagles are a must, especially in the States, I know very well that sales data has always been manipulated, and when you get to the big numbers, it’s rounded to the nearest 10,000. The Pink Floyd themselves have talked about how record labels and bands completely manipulated record stores and sales reporting. Anyway, the Eagles aren’t half bad, and I like Don Henley. But this huge spread of the album in question... :))
