Eh? Oh no! For a moment I read: PINO SCOTTO.

The legendary PRETAZZO! Hey beautiful, how are you? In the meantime, I got the record, give it a listen and... it’s not worth it! But it doesn’t sound plasticky at all :( such a disappointment :( I don’t like it at all.

But taking with a grain of salt all the omnipresent cultural crap in any era, right? I don't understand this belief that in the '80s the cultural crap should be stickier and more pervasive than all the rest.

Damn! The 80s! I went through them with all the shoes (and white socks)! This review is doubly gratifying if it's not the usual nostalgic forty-something talking positively about it. I’ll look for them, and then I’ll let you know what I think.

I had left them here making Cure clones, and now I see they’ve decided what they want to be when they grow up. Honestly, your review (excellent) deserved a different album. Only the opening track is decent, then it’s a bland little thing that stays the same until the end.

Who knows how happy Le Orme would be to read this review...

Two extra points for the awesome cover art.
Gordon Lightfoot Summer Side Of Life
Voto:
Debaser is wonderful for this, because it manages to bring back to life albums that seemed lost forever in oblivion and characters like this Gordon Lightfoot, where the only thing that comes to mind when you see them is "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?"

I join the few (but good) who have appreciated and continue to remember the fabulous Big Country, candidates for the title of the most underrated bands of all time.
