I wonder why there is a need in debaser to make the disclaimer "don't shoot the pianist" for certain so-called "B" tier artists and albums. I mean, I completely understand the reasons, but it’s all very sad :(

I wonder... if you are a true fan of Liga why do you want to hurt yourself so much by publishing her right here on debaser?

@Delbert, we probably have a different understanding of what is meant by "80s sound." The arrangements on this record are still quite "humanized," nothing compared to the synths that will come later. The arrangements on this album are monstrous (and I invite you again to check out the names of those who played on that record, which are amazing; many came from jazz), and maybe you tend to confuse the clarity of the sound with a synthetic sound.

@ Mitch, listen, I'm ending this discussion here because I see you're getting a bit angry for no reason and you're quick to insult, which really rubs me the wrong way. You really like the texts? Fine, it doesn’t change my life. Have a good rest of the day.

@Mitch, regarding the music/content debate, I firmly side with the music advocates; for me, lyrics are just an accompaniment, I don't consider them essential. To those who simply can't live without them, I would advise them to go read some nice poetry in the shade of a beautiful oak tree, which is quite cool. The reviewer opened the review with a statement about the 80s sounds that are neither here nor there in this album. Can I say that? Or do I have to wait for your written authorization? The next album "E già", that one definitely has "80s" vibes all over it, but this one absolutely does not! I hope I've been a bit more exhaustive now. p.s. cazzoncello will be there!

I don't know where the hell you hear typical '80s sounds in this album. If you look closely at the back cover, you'll see that the musicians featured were among the best technically speaking at that time, and they would have never dreamed of playing the "plastic" stuff typical of the years to come. The album, no nonsense, is just excellent, and the lyrics... who cares.

I fell in love with "Blood In Our Wells" except for the cover, which is so depressing it's like pulling your hair out. Compared to this, it looks like Rimini in mid-August. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll get my hands on it.

What a cool site Debaser is! You never stop learning new words! I thought the word "sincretismo" had something to do with "rincretinismo," but that wasn't the case.
