I agree with comments 6 from Templare, 15 from Nosebleed, and 17 from Matacà regarding the comparison with other enjoyable songs (Slave to Love by Ferry and More than This by Roxy Music), the immense contribution from Summer and Copeland (I would add), and the charm of the previous albums. But I don’t hate Sting, even if he is indeed quite arrogant, and besides, the three of them together were so good...
I usually don’t love single track reviews at all, but I really liked this one (nostalgia canaglia? Yes, Geeno! and I’m proud of it!).. Well written, pleasant to read.
I don’t really understand those who give a 1 just because they don’t love the reviewed work: what does it have to do with it? If a review is well written, why slash it just because of personal preferences that are subjective and not objective?
There are CDs that I would never listen to, but if I read a review and it’s well done, why give it a 1? This isn’t a polemic, I really want to understand...
