Joshua, I prefer the original version, in Outside (masterpiece). I find it darker than the one on this CD.

I loved Tondelli a lot back then, even though for me as an 18-year-old it was a bit heavy at times. From reading Piervittorio, you always came out feeling a bit bruised or at least battered, or maybe it was just my still immature age. Beautiful analysis VELLUTO, but I will reread it calmly. I have three versions of this soundtrack, but so far my all-time favorite is the original, released in 1982 along with the film (not the Director's cut) and performed by the Philharmonic Orchestra. I think there’s no comparison... But I still enjoy listening to this one very much. Nice retrieval.

Oh my goodness, it was the only one missing from my Bowie collection and I looked for it for years, then a year ago, on my birthday, it arrived with the new cover featuring a fit Bowie :) Beautiful review, I appreciate it so much. Kisses

Seen just last night by pure chance thanks to channel surfing late at night, on a -for once- ITALIA1 to be thankful for... Of course, it's absolutely a Tim Burton film, and that's why, after watching the opening for the first 5 minutes, I decided to watch the whole thing despite the late hour and the early morning wake-up. And I was right, the film is nothing short of a celebration of "Burtonesque" style, perhaps a bit too splatter for my taste, but it certainly didn't horrify me for that. Here, the kids and the celebrities play a minimal role. The photography, although seen before, is spectacular, the actors are undeniable, and the plot is gripping. But what more could you want?? Beautiful.

I would say that what everyone is saying in the posts above is true, but I'm like the KGB. I definitely enjoyed it, even if I'm arriving late (as usual).

Beautiful review, excellently described in the director's intentions and in the emotions it conveys (whether pleasant or disgusting). I could almost put the mule to work for a quick "daunlod" and see what to say about it. Maybe even nothing. But you, well done.
