I wanted to say at the time of the marriage with Hynde, but I was saying: Alex, I've just reread your comment... I think I misunderstood... you meant to say that as of today it's unlikely that copies of this work are still available around, right? Indeed, it's very difficult, maybe on some foreign website online... but I doubt it. Would you be so kind as to send me the list of songs from your vinyl? I think it's a completely different tracklist compared to the CD they released with the minestrone... Curious, curious. I imagine the sound is better too... Let me know. Bye.

Hi Alex, I'm an ex-enthusiast of the band in question and I own all their albums and/or CDs up to "CRY." If the '82 after your name refers to your birth year, I understand why you claim that before your remastered version "you don't think you'll find any older ones around," but you're mistaken; mine was purchased by me in 1984, at a time when, if what I say above is true, you were 2 years old... Clearly, it scratches a bit now! For me, Wonderful in Young Life and 20th Century P.L. are my favorites, perhaps I should say among my absolute favorites. Seeing Out the Angels is already part of Sons & Fascination. As for Empires & Dance, I can tell you it's a very interesting work and the logical prelude to this subsequent double album. It still bears a lot of the post-punk music influence and is much less sunny than the following ones, perhaps a bit raw, but in my opinion absolutely unmissable... I Travel, Celebrate, Thirty Frames a Second are gems from those years. Once Upon a Time makes me feel quite uneasy even though it's a more than honest work, but it's specifically aimed at the American pop market, and let's not forget that at that time Jim Kerr was married to Hynde, the leader of the Pretenders... Meanwhile, the true masterpiece for maturity, arrangements, and lyrics is Street Fighting Years, which features important collaborations like Lou Reed, etc. Then from there, it’s been downhill... I bought the subsequent ones more out of love than anything else. And to wrap up, I can say that even now when I hear Hunter & the Hunted my eyes get a little misty and my skin gets covered in chills...
Hi, a kiss.

I have to say that after spending my euros on the CD, I fully agree with Frantz, just to change it up... in general, I would say I like it, but Parachutes remains a milestone in my record collection, oh yeah!

So, to be truly precise... Sons & Fascination started out as a single vinyl, but for a short time it was accompanied by the sale of a sort of extended play titled "Sister feelings call," initially produced in limited numbers as if it were a rich collection of b-sides from the same session of the unreleased tracks. Clearly, I own both in vinyl, and Sister is stunning; in some ways, I even like it more than Sons... Following the huge success of the Simple Minds in '85, Virgin resumed printing and releasing it as a long-play album. At the time of the digital launch of Sons & Fascination, the label decided to create a kind of hodgepodge, including some significant tracks (from Sister feelings call: they are numbers 9/10/11/12/13 on the Virgin CD). Unfortunately, some songs remain unreleased and vinyl memorabilia... Do try to find them! The instrumental version of the track "70 cities as love brings the fall" on Sister is beautiful... Are you satisfied, my Lord from Central Italy?

I really like BelCanto, even though I’ve already made my thoughts clear about Cocteau and DCD in this genre. I have two or three of their CDs, but this one is missing from my collection. What year is it from?

I have the 45 RPM of Virgin's UNDERPASS by John Foxx!!!! Yes, I agree in referring to Foxx as an intellectual of techno-pop, especially when comparing him to the early albums of Depeche, but then guys, there hasn’t been any contest since then. Tell me which band has been able to stand up to him, maybe not for 3 decades, but for 20 years for sure! Zilch... I agree with DS, absolutely. Kisses.

I saw them too in 2001 at the Frequenze Disturbate festival in Urbino. A few months before she disappeared... can you imagine the heartache that followed... If the others are better than Peng! then the purchase is definitely worth it... Kisses
