Hi Nes, I actually have something by Mum, and I must say I quite like it...

This CD is great... and "Babylon" and "My oh My" are my favorites.

A beautiful review that I'm arriving at, as always, late... I got the album for my sister, who was obsessed with the first one, convinced it was in the same vein as that, which left me completely indifferent. Then the surprise! Moral: the CD ended up with me, and I’m not at all a flower child, but in a time when everyone is "loud" and makes a lot of noise, even if splendid, hearing that there are still those who whisper... well, it's truly a wonderful break. Beautiful CD and your review is very well written. Question: but doesn’t Candy (just so we’re clear, I like her a lot) seem a bit repetitive with that long, always the same ending? It’s almost a lullaby...

Exactly Michoos... I know a lot of friends who would gladly do the same but had to say goodbye several years ago.......

Usually, however, a good percentage of those who slander a review haven't actually listened to the CD in question... :-/

Always intrigued by the many positive comments from various friends who are fans (fanatics) of it. Riding this wave of enthusiasm, I wanted to see the film that -maybe it’s due to Mark Wahlberg's fishy face, maybe it’s the failed attempt to turn a video game/comic/book of fantasy into a splendid action movie- disappointed me quite a bit. But sooner or later, I’ll get the first chapter for PS2…

Amen! (I don't fully quote with a 5 just because I'm a Schulz fan, just like in the Beatles/Rolling debate, I'm a Beatles fan!)

I know that unfortunately many will malign you for this choice, which I fully support, calling you incompetent and sentimental. I, on the other hand, have been following Fabi since the days he was into "Giardinaggio," and I like him more and more. Great review, perhaps you are a bit too bold in putting him in competition with LA CURA by the good Franco, but overall I agree with everything.

Beautiful review even if "the other one" is better, I would say perfect... Anyway, top quality. For me, Simple Minds end with Street Fighting Years, even though I have all the CDs, including the last one (Graffiti Soul): a great love is a great love, after all. But the early ones (I would say up to Sparkle in the Rain) are absolute masterpieces in the entire music scene. Epoch-making!
