Very beautiful, heartfelt, engaging review. I don't know them, but I fear I'll have to remedy that soon, hoping my computer doesn't crash. Since I've been actively back on DeB and following your advice, the new additions to my collection have skyrocketed, inversely proportional to the state of my finances, but thankfully there's the internet! @Cornell: I've been eyeing the Doc Martens for years with plenty of drool, but between the cost and the fact that my parents definitely didn't approve, I had to fight tooth and nail to assert my will! Anyway, thanks for the tip. Hi everyone!

You intrigued me: I was reading that the theremin (so the sound produced is like a modulated whistle? I didn't understand if it's connectable to individual instruments to vary their timbre and melody) was used extensively by the Beach Boys (in Good Vibrations, that sort of background howl then!), by Led Zeppelin, by Eric Rosse (former partner of Tori Amos), J.M. Jarre, etc. At this point, I would be curious to hear the work in question. But you Memento, do you have it? And if so, do you listen to it often??

Same here, memories galore. An old friend I had lost and then, by chance, found again gifted/dedicated it to me during my post-adolescent years.. Pure gooeyness that, however, had its great reason for being!
