What a wonderful reception. I care about you, we were missing Le Orme a bit here on DeBaser. This is one of the few that I haven't heard (even though I have it). I will take care of it, thank you for this moment. For me, the ultimate will always be Uomo di Pezza.

Come on, 4 because it reminds me of my childhood, marked by listening (also) to things like this. What nostalgia, sniff... "Don't look back in anger" is stunning...
John Zorn Kristallnacht

It takes a genius, yes, but if that doesn't sit well with you, you could say it requires an enormous feeling, and it seems that no one else has had it besides Zorn (at least on this subject). Perhaps the realization, even the idea of the piece were not difficult to conceive, but the meticulousness with which everything is blended (it seems random but it's not) makes this piece worthy of a master like Zorn. Honestly, for the theme addressed, I find this piece much more fitting than a tear-jerking piano solo...

This is not the best point to start with Zorn; it's better if you begin with Naked City and, to get into the Zornian spirit, maybe the last 3 (Moonchild, Astronome, Six Litanies For Heliogabalus). Then you can go on your own way..

Yes, come on Bisius, Zorn is brilliant, but not the greatest. Then, in the 20th century, for me the best remains (and will always remain) Francone!
Nanni Moretti Il Caimano

I have been cultivating Moretti's films for a long time now, and this one deserves the usual (but never taken for granted) 5. Our best director, only that no one understands him. And no one laughs when he would like to make them laugh. I laugh. Always.

@bonny: at this point you are wrong, the sound commentary is a diminutive compared to the meticulousness that Kubrick put into making the Ninth Symphony of Ludovico penetrate the scenes. It’s not just simple background music, it’s an integral part of the whole.. @Contemplazione: the initial phrase did not intend to generalize by saying that a movie without a soundtrack is crap. It was a classic beginning.

Yes, but despite the universality of Ludovico Van, the music of Clockwork finds its true fulfillment only in the film, and I am certain of this, even though it is one of the best soundtracks out there. Can you understand what I mean?
