Panda Bear Person Pitch
Voto:
I just listened to it, but I can't say I understood it. I find it has a very "old" sound (not modern, in short), and I don't see the meaning in it.. Despite this, I didn't find it disgusting; in fact, I better explore it again, even several times, to comprehend it. A work that's not easy, but curious enough...

I have both Marsupilami, but I haven't heard this one, hehe! Now I can feel it! Mao
The Mars Volta The Bedlam In Goliath
Voto:
Well, I would say that the order and compactness of this album, given that the "disorderly and unassembled" Amputechture was excellent, earns it a full 5. A masterpiece by Mars Volta, nothing more to add, already bought and shelved.
King Crimson In The Wake Of Poseidon
Voto:
Finally, I have the chance to express my opinion!!! I completely agree, even more so, because for me this is the worst album of the early Crimson! I mean, is it possible that they produced such a poor imitation of the previous one, and right after a semi-masterpiece like Lizard? This Wake just doesn’t fit at all. Rating: 3.5 (Cat Food bumps it up to 4, come on)
Stanley Kubrick 2001: Odissea Nello Spazio
Voto:
@CJBS: I beg to differ on one point. Kubrick did not leave open keys to interpretation: in my opinion, he simply wanted there to be none, because ultimately the remaining universe is unknown to us. The final journey to the edges of the universe is an irrational journey, conceived by a mind that is undoubtedly brilliant and apocalyptic. And the end of this universe does not show us new planets, aliens, or parallel dimensions: it only shows us ourselves, closing a circle. To then begin again.
Mike Oldfield Incantations

A long and difficult listen, but fascinating. We're still talking about the first Oldfield.. And it shouldn't be dismissed (4). Obviously, the earlier albums are unmatched. Nice review.
Stanley Kubrick 2001: Odissea Nello Spazio

The most incomprehensible film ever made. And one of the greatest masterpieces of all time.
King Crimson Earthbound

Never heard this, by choice. I don't intend to ruin my image of Fripp, who has regained my passion only with The Power To Believe, having a hard time believing that he wrote that abortion of Discipline... Obviously, the production up to 1974 is impeccable; it's clear that this is the exception.
Dream Theater Systematic Chaos

"You could have spared us 'CaterBa'.. If you're using refined terms, it would be ideal to check them first, right? I've already said everything about the disc a long time ago.."
The Doors The Doors
Voto:
Yes, but 5.
