Rivoli, the comparison with Carmelo Bene, excuse me, but it doesn't mean a damn thing. You will understand on your own that we are talking about different eras: in this century, we are experiencing (in Italy as elsewhere) that uncertainty that characterized the beginning of the 20th. Cinema adapts as best it can, turning its own uncertainties into "art."

Thank you for the comments, even the less flattering ones.. @tom traubert: it seems that the adaptation of Persepolis is quite spot on instead. I saw a longish trailer, and it really inspires a lot. Of course, the comic will be a different thing.. I read it all and I liked it a lot..
