I would have given you a 5, really, if I hadn't read the last sentence! Black has become, for some time now, in many ways a mass genre (obviously within the metal scene), certainly not difficult to listen to. I won't rate the album, since the black bands I can tolerate can be counted on the fingers of one hand (maybe two, okay, but I wouldn't count on it).

Let me preface by saying that you have a horrific way of writing... don’t you think that judging an Immortal album (any of them) as a work of art is a bit far-fetched? Excluding the people who follow them, the rest of the metal community either mocks them (and indeed, I can think of no other adjective to associate with the band but “ridiculous”) or outright hates them! And then, comparing the importance of their breakup to the deaths of Dimebag or Chuck... are you out of your mind? Since when do we compare buffoons with artists? Please! It seems that besides Immortal, there’s someone else here who’s ridiculous...
