Then boredom probably set in since this will be the third or fourth review of the album I've read, but since I find the topic interesting... One last thing: even though Wilson himself said it, this idea of a quasi-concept seems like nonsense to me. I repeat, I've never read the lyrics; for all I know, they could be about anything. It’s just that in the history of rock music, there have been countless albums where the lyrics all focused on the same subject, but no one has ever talked about a quasi-concept, or at least I think so. Who knows?

Yes, yes, you can make tribal music even with toms and timpani... but I don't see it in Anesthetize. In fact, you didn't accuse Lazarus, it's my fault! But if you want, I’ll rate your first comment (5) :)

the sheen of the first day can then be completely thrown in the toilet, on the third day for me instead Megadeth (or maybe not, since I doubt they play "old stuff") and Type O Negative are worth mentioning.

for me it's terrible: the brain-dead Dream Theater of recent years, the ruined Black Sabbath, the tacky Blind and Symphony X, the ridiculous Dimmu Borgir. Only the immeasurable Anathema are saved (who by the way haven't been doing metal for a century) and, for those who like them, Dark Tranquillity (not my genre). well, personal opinions

But why does the Gods of Merdal really still exist? I was reading about some scandalous groups that will participate this year... not to mention previous years! (One name above all? Guns N' Roses... begone!). Ah, have you ever listened to the Pantera version of Planet Caravan? (if I'm not mistaken, it's on Far Beyond Driven).

Ah Morpheo, however I liked your comment ;) as Mementomori said, with psychedelia it was easier to gain consensus, on these new paths they are taking quite a risk (the different opinions are clear) but... be careful not to overdo it with metal. For example, Harrison could have spared us a few double-cassara outbursts here and there.

Same old banal introduction, the usual banal accusations (Lazarus), a review that bored me, then... Anesthetize has no tribal parts, it simply has a beautiful groove in the first few minutes (how can you confuse toms and timpani with bongos?), the drums are nice even in sentimental (completely affected... but what is it? reverb?), quasi-concept albums don’t exist; they either tell a story that follows a logical thread through the songs or they don’t tell any "unifying" story at all... now, I haven't read the lyrics, but if you tell me there's no unique story, that's enough for me to say it's not a concept. Well, anyway, I think there are enough opinions on this album now... that should be enough, right? :)
