Can there be art in the extreme left and not in the extreme right? And how is that? It makes you want to throw your hands up!

I know these here, but only by name. Beautiful review, perhaps one of your best!

Well, Euronymous' parents are a bit dim, though, huh?

Yes, the answer is obvious, but the point is that evidently FOR ME, on this page, not much has been said (much as you mean it, much as I mean it). In the "much" I would include feelings, information about the genre and the soundscapes, and a few other things (I’m not going to create a decalogue of the perfect reviewer, also because to do that I would have to be perfect myself, which is nonsense), and in this writing it seemed to me that it focused almost exclusively on feelings. Let's say, I did not see completeness. Oh guys, relax, I didn't mean to offend anyone!

no odradek, don't worry, I have nothing more to say to you than what I've already said, especially since until today I've never had the pleasure of discussing with you. I'll tell you, I have a personal preference for fairly short reviews, especially if they're well-written and packed with information in just a few lines, and I honestly find the very long socio-psycho-musical essays quite boring, unless the topic at hand really interests me (and I mean REALLY interests me). Now, I stumbled upon this review of yours by chance, because electronic-ambient is the furthest thing possible from my tastes, and I saw that it wasn't too long, so I thought to myself, "maybe I'll give it a read," but I honestly found very little in it. Stop, for me the discussion ended there; I didn't doubt for a second that maybe in other writings you might appeal to me much more, especially because from these few lines it’s clear that you know how to write very well. The initial jerk (jerk in a way of speaking) comment relates to something I’ve seen happen multiple times on the pages of Debaser; often the newcomers or not-so-popular users have received a lot of flak, even when they had quite a bit of originality and were trying to do something different from the "usual review." Flak that typically doesn’t come when the same things are written in the same manner by more prominent figures (of course, take everything I'm saying with a grain of salt; I realize that the expression "prominent figures" is a bit ridiculous, we're still talking about a website!). One last thing: it may even be one of the best things you've written, but indeed, "BEST things," not reviews, and don’t let anyone say I have standards for classification because that’s not the case. Yours is a thought, maybe even excellently expressed, but it remains, after all, just a thought; if each of us started writing daily thoughts of about ten lines, the database would swell like crazy, and it doesn’t seem to be one of the pseudo-goals of the site to fill pages and pages with thoughts. Anyway, don't worry, no hard feelings, I've said what I needed to say, I appreciate that you don't give a damn about my standards and that you explicitly state it, but... well, "we're here to converse."

I’d like to add that it would be interesting to note the reaction of the users on this site if the same "review" and the same comment ("I had nothing more to say") were maybe written by some jerk who just signed up a day ago. Gone would be the insults or phrases like "if you had nothing much to say, who forced you to write it?". But I repeat, don't worry, maybe the same people who behave like that with others will come here and worship you, as you are such a charismatic character. Bye bye.

Odradek, if you allow me, I know where to find what I'm looking for; that's not the issue. A little humility every now and then would do some good... but don't worry, soon the faithful circle of admirers who only comment based on who writes will come forward and honor you with many nice high votes!
