for example, even Scarecrow that you mention, does not show, if I remember correctly, musicians playing. Yet the Pink Floyd, even when Syd was at the peak of his schizophrenia, took Syd with them to all television appearances, and some of his performances have gone down in history, I won't go into details now since I think you all know them.

Not precisely. Before this video, when a song was played on television, it was only because the artist was there performing it, or because the artist was presenting the video itself. With this video, the trend was born to simply use a video as a promo for a song. And this somehow launched the era of MTV.

this was the first video ever made to be shown on television rather than the band in person. It came about because the Queen could not attend Top Of The Pops due to some physical ailment of Mercury, so they made this video instead. Since then, it has become increasingly common for concept videos to showcase songs instead of bands appearing live. But this is the first; Scarecrow is no exception.

that Bohemian Rhapsody is recognized as the first concept video. It's a credit only in part, because it gave rise to things like MTV

every song was tremendously catchy. From Heaven For Everyone to the remake of Made In Heaven, from Mother Love to Too Much Love Will Kill You. I haven’t listened to it in years either; it’s like I’ve turned my back on these albums I used to listen to a long time ago. However, it deserves a passing grade.

By the way, does anyone of you know a nice website where I can find music t-shirts, you know, like Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Bob Dylan, the usual stuff? I’m sure someone here knows of one.

In Turin, there’s a beautiful warm wind. I just got back from outside and I was wearing a short-sleeved shirt.

Anyway, have you noticed? deBaser is becoming a dictatorship. The physical elimination of inconvenient characters, censorship, editors engaging in propaganda, these ad personam laws. And we are the ones organizing petitions, arranging a review strike, holding peace roundabouts. The editorial is a clear testament to this delusion of omnipotence. We are at the end of the twentieth century, the entire world is shaken by atomic explosions. On the face of the earth, the oceans had disappeared and the plains looked like desolate deserts... however, the debaserian race had survived.
