Johnny Winter Still Alive and Well
Voto:
Typo on Lucille aside, you always review well and especially music of the highest quality. Johnny Winter is one of the most flamboyant blues guitarists and his slide is deadly. This one is really beautiful, my favorite alongside Nothing But The Blues. Congratulations on the choice.

not liking something doesn't mean I don't know it. The one about Kurt Cobain was an ironic joke since many consider him a great guitarist, which he obviously isn't. However, it's poorly written, and I admit it's not clear.

I repeat, it’s that we are ignorant and we don't understand English, which is why in Italy certain "phenomena" exist. And note well that in my ignorance I really appreciate our singer-songwriters, precisely because I understand what they say. Something I just can't do with Dylan. (On the night between May 25 and 26, 2007, Faust'o told me: "Davide, you have to learn English, you don't know what you're missing." The same things that the legendary Pedraelighe told me last year in London. But I am ignorant.)

Guccini means nothing to me = Guccini, I don’t know him at all? You’re not okay, you’ve pulled out 5 or 6 theorems that are hair-raising. And I repeat to you that that phrase is from Iside, so you’re addressing him with your theorems.

The only worrying thing is that someone who is 20 years old is thinking about this political bullshit. It's really a shame. My judgment is strictly musical, and Guccini doesn't say a damn thing to me. Do you agree? Do you disagree? Doesn't matter much. Now I really have to go. I'm training, like a good capitalist. Now you can vent, because I won't be coming back to this page. Oh, I almost forgot, if you want to go and give 1 to my reviews, and you can't find them, don’t worry, a brand new one will be published in a few days.

NOW EVEN THE RIGHT IS OPENING UP TO SONGWRITERS BECAUSE IT HAS UNDERSTOOD THAT THEY ARE A TREASURE FOR ALL ITALIANS (I READ AN ARTICLE IN SECOLO D'ITALIA TWO PAGES LONG THAT PRAISES GUCCINI'S CAREER) ONLY A CERTAIN BIGOTED RIGHT CONTINUES TO NOT UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF THESE ARTISTS AND YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE: but what the hell are you talking about with your hot air? this is a music site if you had forgotten. Let me talk to your nihilist friend.

then you contradict yourself again by saying that those ridiculous hyper-nationalist characters make you laugh, and then you end up laughing at yourself; go read your very first comments, I don’t even have the desire to go get them and post them because it would just be a waste of time with you. I bet you would have wanted to give one to my reviews too, right? but when you click on my name, it says: "I couldn't find him! What a desolation!"

pro-American? But why do I listen to Dylan? Can you even wrap your head around it? Like it or not, you also live in a capitalist society; that doesn’t make you pro-American. But then again, after reading that if I listen to Dylan, I must be in favor of the death penalty and the war in Iraq, I’m no longer surprised by your increasingly absurd theories. Who told you that I’m right-wing? Who told you that I’m partisan? To be honest, I don’t know who disgusts me more, from either side; if anyone is partisan, it’s you, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, mind you. But you use these phrases as if they were a crime. You’re guilty of presumption; I’ve never voted in any of the elections I’ve had the right to. Right choice, wrong choice? It’s my choice.

"We are ignorant, and that's why certain phenomena exist in Italy." These are the words of Iside, which I merely copied and pasted. You see that I am right when I say that you don't know how to read. My comments are the ones with my name underneath.

"TAKING IT ERRONEOUSLY AS A TARGET TO ATTACK THE LEFT" ha ha ha aha ha. I increasingly get the impression that you are a senator from the Communist Refoundation, but I repeat for the thousandth time, with me these shabby anathemas do not work, not even your theorems. You like American music, you are in favor of the death penalty, the war in Iraq, the war for oil; when it's Italy vs. USA, you cheer for the USA. Really, these things don’t work, you are very much mistaken.
