And anyway, just my personal opinion, the version of Sympathy For The Devil from "Get Yer Ya Ya's Out," even though it's beautiful in the solos, loses some of its charm; I much prefer the version from the Rock'N'Roll Circus.

Aside from the fact that Angie is a real stunner, even live, with a Taylor solo that will give you chills. Everyone is in stunning shape there (Taylor and Jagger are shining like never before). There’s a "Midnight Rambler" that is as good as or even better than the Sympathy For The Devil from "Get Yer Ya Ya’s Out." It’s not official, but that was the intent; it just couldn't be released due to contractual reasons, and the next official live album was "Love You Live." In any case, even the setlist of Get Yer Ya Ya's Out leaves quite a bit to be desired. If Midnight Rambler had been captured in the studio in a version similar to that of Brussels Affair, it would have become dirty and nasty almost like Sympathy For The Devil.

Speaking of live, "Brussels Affair" is much better than Get Yer Ya Ya.

But indeed I said it just because you can't say "the best of the Stones is...". At most you can say "my favorite of the Stones is...". And anyway, even if in random order, I believe that the top 5 albums are the same: Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Beggar's Banquet, Exile On Main Street, and Aftermath.

Damn, if you work on Christmas Eve, either you're Santa Claus or you're really unlucky.

@azzo: the best Stones album is Let It Bleed and not Sticky Fingers. Let that be clear to everyone.

@Deneil: it's like when you're talking to someone who stutters. Pointing it out can only make things worse. I won't argue about the 3 stars. It's cataloged under the name Rolling Stones for convenience. Usually, for "super sessions," a name has always been found for the group to avoid this issue; I think of the Masked Marauders or the Dirty Mac.

I don't understand why it was placed under the name Rolling Stones. Just look at the cover.

I'll throw it among the recommended reviews, even though I can't give this album more than 3.
