@muito, I personally don't like the video at all, and it's clearly a matter of taste, but "Jailhouse Rock" is from 1957, exactly 20 years before your video. Personally, I can't listen to Elvis doing ballads and songs like "Kentucky Rain" or "It's Now Or Never" or covers of anything from Simon & Garfunkel to The Beatles to Dylan. But that's not the issue I'm arguing about; everyone has their own personal opinions. The debate started from the 3 to the review, not the album, and personally, I'm still baffled by the uproar over a 3.

No, he wasn't a God, he was the King, but before the 1960s. Then his crown of spien passed to others.

Did you not know? That's why I included it in the list. You see, Elvis dies and people still see him 30 years later; Bo Diddley dies and no one talks about it even the day after. Let's get back to the point we were discussing earlier.

And after all the pointless insults I've received, I can swear on Van Halen's Frankenstrat that I didn't even remember the comment on my review. And all this arrogance in criticizing someone who's going to university, it's not like you'd pay for it anyway, especially since I was getting by on scholarships. Then you'd have to explain what that has to do with music. Now, I don’t know what you do for a living, and I really don’t care, but if I knew you were, I don’t know, a plumber, it’s not like I’d throw it in your face all the time. I just don’t see the connection. But indeed, I don’t belong to the clique of super friends.

You see that what you haven't understood at all is you. It's not a ranking of competitiveness; it's a list that shows you that in 1969, music was something entirely different, and that Elvis, after 1959, was dead and kept artificially alive because he was a machine for sex/money/stupid movies. This album you praise so much is his 34th, after at least 8 years without releasing anything, maybe even a little more. In 1969, the competition was fierce; groups like the Stooges, King Crimson, and the Allman Brothers were debuting, and then albums like Ummagumma, Let It Bleed, Abbey Road, Volunteers, Hot Rats, Led Zeppelin I, Tommy, Valentyne Suite, It's A Beautiful Day, Beck'Ola, Five Leaves Left, Live Dead were emerging; one could go on forever. Here he finds himself at not even 30 years old being an old man, and his music is absolutely anachronistic. He didn't fade away like Carl Perkins, Little Richard, Gene Vincent, Bo Diddley, and the like because he was perhaps the most handsome man on the face of the earth. He was a money-making machine. After 1959, there was only Hollywood and Las Vegas. The king was already dead, trust me :D

From Elvis In Memphis is from 1969. Should I make you a list of the albums from 1969 that rank ahead of it? I could rattle off at least seventy off the top of my head, and with a little time and effort, I could even double that number. We could spend the night on it; after all, I have the flu today due to the flooding. But come on, let's be serious. To be completely serious, we would end up discovering that the king of rock'n'roll is actually named Chuck Berry. But let's leave that for now :D

But how can you say this crap? For me, a 4 is a great score. Do you really think I gave you a 3 out of spite for a 4? I would have given you a 1 if I had any qualms, you know I couldn't care less? My score is based solely on what I read, except obviously if we're talking about fakes and duplicates. For me, this was and remains a 3, imagine if when I read a review I remember the comments made by other people on other reviews. Anyway, even though I think you’re an idiot, I consider you an idiot who knows his music.

this then. The little he had to say Elvis said before 1960, the rest are crumbs for eager little whores, including the comeback special. The king was already dead. Long live the king.

"Ah, ah..The rookie gets angry too. :D -But I'm really not bothered by you" but you've been complaining for half an hour about a 3 on your review? It actually surprised me because it's the first time I've seen someone get so worked up, can you believe it?

Ah canenero, to the joy of Borka who will have something to hold against me in the not-so-distant future, I wanted to tell you that I graduated in January, with a nice final L, so you can stop calling me university student. Actually, no, keep going, I like it (Ian Paice).
