Quentin Tarantino Django Unchained
Voto:
I liked it quite a bit. After all, Tarantino has been doing this for over 20 years, so I certainly don't expect any groundbreaking innovations. Predictable? Yes, to some extent, but for once that's fine; I had fun. So, I agree with Musicanidi.
Roger Waters Radio Kaos

The solo albums of the members of Pink Floyd, although different, have one thing in common: they all, to varying degrees, demonstrate how much they needed each other to make things work perfectly. This rule also applies to the Pink Floyd's deus ex machina Roger Waters, even though certain albums in the Floyd catalog (Animals and The Wall, for example) are almost entirely composed by him. Radio Kaos is an ultimately pretentious album, but it gifts us a few tracks of his genius: "Me Or Him" is a masterpiece. 3.5.

I completely agree. I watched it last night and felt exactly the same emotions. The actors were undeniably skilled, but the film grated on my nerves. It's precisely the "challenging each other for 130 minutes with monologues and close-ups" that makes it so tedious and pedantic... At a certain point, interest goes to hell; you just hope to get to the end at least to witness a twist that could give meaning to all this exhaustion, and instead, nothing unpredictable happens. And it's not the lack of action that's the problem; it's that at times it really feels like watching a stylistic exercise based on monologues/dialogues, while the plot takes a backseat, which is why interest is lost.

I don't agree with some points of the review: I don't care how Chris was dressed either, and saying that their production after the first two albums has been useless can only find my total disagreement. However, I also didn't like them very much. I expected more. I didn't find genuineness in their performance; they seemed to be there just to collect a paycheck. And honestly, I don't think they played that well. I started off excited and walked away feeling disappointed.

I didn’t mind it at all. Fun, amusing. It may not be his masterpiece, but I watched it gladly. A 3.5 is just right.
Neil Young Chrome Dreams II

Neil Young? What can I say... Immense in the 60s-70s, a bit inconsistent but generally excellent in the 80s, from the 90s onwards, as passionate and credible as he may be, he’s really not quite the same as before (and I would even include Ragged Glory, which I think is very overrated, among the mediocre and uninspired albums of recent decades). However, after over twenty years of music at that level, it’s a bit merciless to expect him to still be original and to create masterpieces. His albums may no longer be exceptional, but there's always something good (I recently listened to Living With War and appreciated it). This too shows the greatness of an artist, and he is among the greatest! Great review.

I can't help but be biased after hearing such colossal rubbish like Jaws...

Nice review. Still, I've never found anything thrilling about this band...
