Great review and an excellent album, just slightly inferior to the next one, "Goat." I haven't listened to them in a while; I think it's time to revisit.

I like "Nighttime." Imperfect, sure, but besides the singles, "Europe" and "Tabazan" also stand out (what a killer riff!). I was just thinking about them today, and, what a coincidence, I discover they’re coming to Milan in November, and I find them on the homepage here on Debaser. Signs?

I prefer, in addition to the immortal debut album "Safe As Milk", the most underrated one - primarily by Beefheart himself - "Strictly Personal".

I saw them in 2013 and I liked them a lot, they hadn't lost their great energy yet. They are true rockers, hold on tight!

But look at that, I just realized that Bartolo had written to me! Great! Yes, it's true, it had been a while since I was around these parts, as we say in my area, or around these neighborhoods, as we say in my parts. It was your review of the latest Slayer album, which I also shared on my Facebook page, that made me want to start writing for DeBaser again. I hope to write another one soon (and to get you to do another helicopter)!

No, "King Animal" itself isn't (and I reiterate that there are some nice tracks signed by Cornell), but the reunion move is. Like all reunions, after all. To get there, he had to scrape the bottom with "Scream," and wanting to regain some standing with SG is a somewhat strategic move (but entirely legitimate, in any case).

Did he also invite Henry Rollins and Ian McKaye to this sideshow? I can totally picture them singing "shut yourself in the toilet"...

Absolutely. A group whose conception of "space rock" was quite elastic, but which offered a series of pleasant surprises early on in their career. Then, as time went by, more and more circus-like phenomena, sometimes endearing, other times irritating (like in the horrible "Atomic").

How cool! I'm eagerly awaiting a review (praising, of course) of the essential single-jewel "La Patatina" by the brilliant new queen of pop, as well as highly regarded former reality star Carolina Marcone!

Should I do it or should I not? Should I do it or should I not? Oh, why not, I'll do it...
