The only punk band I love (though they’re not really punk-punk). I’d say that the first person who claims they sound like a punk band live deserves a spit in the face, and I’ll make myself their mother. The first time I saw them live, I hadn’t listened to anything on record. Then, seeing they were under Relapse, I immediately thought of some death&roll, very punk, right? I appreciate Jello Biafra for having collaborated with the Melvins or for having worked with Napalm Death. Sure, one should appreciate him for what he did with the Kennedys, but I’m not really into punk. I listen to the Melvins or Napalm (which, I know, I know, come from it), not the Dead Kennedys. When I picked up one of their records (the latest Till Living bla bla), I was a bit disappointed. Now I’m going to eat a maritozzo with the cream.
