I saw them live about a month ago, supporting Kreator. Really great, but this is the metal I was listening to years ago, the kind that makes you start appreciating the technique that certain bands of this genre achieve. And then Stanne is a really cool guy :D

Damn, the three cats above was symbolic; let's just say that even 100 at Debaser would be too few for the caliber of the character... quite a few of my friends know him and used to hang out with him (yeah, I go out with people in their 40s too :DDD), they’ve told me unbelievable stuff. Aside from the urban legends that circulate, it's truly scary stuff. The whole Death SS Bathory thing, yeah, they're big, but they get on my nerves, and even more so Paolo; in fact, Steve Sylvester really bothers Paolo, I’d like to see that. You start a band, you hire a singer who later turns out to have delusions of grandeur, he leaves the band, and that idiot steals the name and the rights to some songs you wrote. Damn, if I were him, I’d be throwing curses left and right on Steve’s bullshit... The song with the riff copied from the Sabs is part of the album with Tony Martin, but since the Sabs after-Ozzy are kinda, well, stupid, I haven't even listened to it; anyway, give me a day to look into it. More than anything else, they added two changes to a wrong riff from Paul (I heard he was coming off a nervous breakdown and wasn't really himself during that time...) for Zion, The Beyon is ten times better than Salvation (which is also good), they remind me of Interpol's riffs with the screaming voice... I don’t know, hybrids :DDD

Paul Chain, I forgot, on de baser he is known to only three people, fortunately... On Alkahest, Lee Dorrian sings, just to say... he sold about 10,000 copies and then the label went bankrupt, what bad luck!

Keep in mind that the 5s on this site are also given considering the artist, or maybe if the reviewer had the moon in Jupiter that day, or if their girlfriend had just dumped them. As that great woman from kosmo said, "it's not a site for orthodox reviews":D
