A brief review for a greatest hits that would provide the opportunity to write a monograph on Minogue. An excellent double collection, a true breviary of pop that allowed me to rediscover more recent tracks that shine like little gems of rhythm and melody (In My Arms, The One, Get Outta My Way,...).

Read years ago. Very disturbing and dark tale. Beyond the rather veiled (but not always) sexual allusions, it's the sick, morbid, and diabolical atmospheres that unsettle. The 19th century was a rather modest century, but when it comes to the soul and feelings in its novels, it was able to be very advanced.
Have you also read his novel l'ensorcelée? The themes recur: monarchism, satanism,...

I would rephrase the title as "love is violence." Immediate but also layered and rich in references. I hypothesize that Giovanna was dumped for Veronica.
