I like it.

@Lord: I actually think the same as you, see my review of Tenebrae. I got distracted ;) However, you will agree that Zeder is better than all the Argento post - Tenebrae, but also better than Inferno if we want.

Excellent film. How could one forget the scene where Stefano uses binoculars to focus on the former colony and sees the priest coming down the stairs? It is no less than the house with laughing windows, and it certainly proves to be much more original than the contemporary production of Dario Argento. The review is also great.

Excellent. The album cover is also nice, where Randy mimics the Kiss. It's a shame it has little following, because his songs, besides being incredibly deep, are simply very beautiful.

Well... as a fan of K., I must say you've made me think quite a bit. Caustic, but not entirely unfounded, your reasoning. However, I like the film.

@fidia and dreamwarrior: I’m pleased to notice that we belong to the same jungle. Be careful, the university one is even worse...

Welcome back, Bisius: but I haven't seen your comment on Four Flies on Grey Velvet... ;)
Steno La Patata Bollente

The best film by Pozzetto, alongside the nearly contemporaneous "Sono fotogenico" ('80) and the slightly earlier "Ecco noi per esempio" ('77). I want to highlight the talent of the character actors, unfortunately no longer with us: the excellent Clara Colosimo and Luca Sportelli as the curious and nosy doormen, and the great Mario Scarpetta (nephew of Eduardo...) in the role of the friend and colleague Walter. The soundtrack is lovely as well, especially the must "Tango diverso" [Tanto languido e sia/contro l'ipocrisia/dare scandalo è l'unica via/rose rosse per te/raso rosa per me....]. I miss craftsmen like Steno, and like Pozzetto himself, in today’s cinematic landscape.

Beautiful review and great movie. I remember that in the '80s it was continually rerun in prime time on Italia 1, so a plethora of those born in the previous decade were inspired by the Warriors to beat up their younger siblings or cousins (in my case). Not everyone remembers that it is inspired by Xenophon's Anabasis (Cyrus=Ciro).
