I like this discussion.... anyway, I don't feel like I have blinders on... if you look at my reviews, they're pretty much one of a different kind from the other, and if I didn't think for myself to listen to Crass, Dead Kennedys, Discharge, it wouldn't even cross my mind...

Well, opening an independent record label and producing bands instead of depending on a label like EMI or Virgin, how would you define that? The Crass, anyway, promoted the idea of Do It Yourself and produced compilations or albums of bands that were known in the underground at the time, like Napalm Death (who were still doing hardcore punk in 1983) and the Icelandic KUKL (who, by the way, had Björk as their singer).
