You understood perfectly, Ghemy. The album is a single twelve-minute solo, but it's divided into 99 mini-songs. If you want, you can listen to the samples. Thanks for the vote ;-) @Festwca: yes, some consider the group a joke in general. For now, I'm following them with admiration. I can't deny that "OV" is a terrible drag in certain passages, but I liked this one :-) @il trucido: when I said "protected," I meant the literal meaning of the term, the strictly professional relationship between the boss of Ipecac and the "employee" of Ipecac... which, by the way, Zorn is undeniably charismatic in every way...

I added some samples for those who want to get a better idea. In theory, I added more than one, but here I only see one O_o Thanks to Festwca and al Trucido ;-)

Smirk at it ;-) I think that way... I can't help it. On the other hand, not everything can please me...

Yes, in the sense: when Phidias reported that the film was criticized by this Whitaker, and added; <(of course, it really takes a lot of courage to betray one's wife just hours before childbirth)> that was the remark I meant, nothing more.

Honestly, I didn't like it. Too epic and, if we're going to say it, dramatic. I don't know, there's something that didn't sit well with me; maybe the film as a whole feels a bit suspended in the middle, not quite complete. Or maybe it's me who can't digest this bullshit about Mary Magdalene, who knows. Good review, though I would have avoided being so polemical: it's perfectly valid to argue, no doubt... but I would have steered clear of the remark about Forest Whitaker. Just between us, that’s his business: and it’s certainly not the first time America throws a stone only to withdraw its hand.

Tarja Turunen has an amazing voice, she's incredibly stunning, she plays in a fantastic band... and you're still talking about this sort of half mushroom with eye rings?

Let's average it out...

The cover is chilling... it could contend for the title of the worst alongside Stadium Arcadium by the Red Hot Chili Peppers from last year. As for the rest, it's a good album from a good band that, even if it appears on MTV, in my opinion is much more than just a simple commercial "pastime." The review is well-written, but I don't agree with some statements ("the watered-down version of Tool"? Where do you hear the similarities?) and it seems to me that you've given a bit too much space to the single, "The Kill (Bury Me)," while neglecting some of the other tracks.

It brings a smile to my lips. It's beautiful to see how two blind people have managed to achieve such wide success, thanks to their brightness and positivity (they even made it to Top Of The Pops, just imagine). And I believe they deserve this success because, as the Cosmic Gabri rightly said, they had to endure years and years of "humiliations" (piratically speaking) in Mali, after working hard with dedication. So, maximum respect: I really like this CD, I'm not ashamed of it at all, and I couldn't care less that Manu Chao is on it, because the real stars are them, Amadou Bagayoko and Mariam (I don't know the last name!).
