A record of complete emotional collapse. I have never felt anything that came even remotely close to these levels. "The Ferryman" and "Geography" are the extremes of a work too immense to be described: it must simply be experienced.

On the 5th, apart from everything you already know, head to the selection of "Le Particelle Elementari"! ;)

Good job, Mattia, but for me, this is nothing compared to "Controverso," which has two or three truly killer tracks. Rather than post-core, I would call them math-core in the style of Dillinger.
Cesare Pavese La Casa In Collina

Beautiful book, but I don’t agree when you say that Corrado is a disillusioned character: how would you justify, then, the long-distance relationship with Cate? The hope that drives him every time he sees her? Everything else is fine.
Motörhead Inferno

Every time I put it on, I increasingly struggle to wrap my head around the fact that sixty-year-old geezers like these still kick ass like this (as if the subsequent "Kiss Of Death" and "Motörizer" were any calmer, one might say...). Solid, rock-solid, and thrilling!

"The city is sick, the people are underage... To others, the task of healing, of educating. To us, that of repressing! Repression is our vaccine! Repression is civilization!"
John Zorn, Bill Frisell, Tim Sparks & Marc Ribot Masada Guitars

"Kochot," "Kedem," and "Elilah" are the best tracks, but it's absolutely astounding that out of twenty-one pieces (and seventy-five minutes), there isn't a dull moment. A composition that's no less than Zornian and stellar, with a performance, especially by Ribot, at stratospheric levels. Divine!

As far as I'm concerned, definitely an excellent album that has held up well over the months. A proposal that is certainly more aggressive and less cerebral than "Barriers And Passages," with tracks that should be read as a single sound flow, where the devastating accelerations of "Reactionary" certainly stand out. Between 3 and 4.

Fantastic album, unbeatable. Probably "Metaltov" is the Zornian piece I like the most: perfect klezmer melody that merges into a vessel of blues-core sludge. Solid 10.
