Marty Friedman Loudspeaker
Voto:
for HetfieldGod: Friedman now lives permanently in Japan, he has even learned Japanese and, if I'm not mistaken, he has also married a Japanese woman (or was that Gilbert? I don’t know, he also got heavily hooked on almond-shaped eyes).

bad review for a mediocre record... prince can definitely do better, although I believe that his perfect dimension is now that of live performances (the last time he came to mazdapalace there were people crying... stunning concert). I think that as far as albums are concerned, the little guy has reached a phase where he delivers well-made records but they don’t hold up compared to the previous ones, a bit like what happens to all great artists when they enter the capitalistic phase of their careers. Not realizing this and expecting a masterpiece from an artist every single time is a bit childish. The comparison between prince and jimi holds, what absolutely doesn’t hold is comparing them to jim morrison, perhaps the most overrated musician (but even this term could be debated) of all time. and at this point, I’d say we can unleash the massacre: I’m ready...
Bruce Dickinson Tattoed Millionaire
Voto:
for Shine: I'm not saying they only took a friend guitarist, but that the factor of friendship has certainly prevailed far more than the musical one. It's a fact that live Janick has always caused disasters, but maybe that's okay, especially since the Iron have always favored feeling over cleanliness, especially in live performances. And anyway, he might be "faster" than Adrian Smith, but I care very little about how fast a guitarist plays...
Vasco Rossi Cosa Succede In Città
Voto:
Great review for a fantastic album, perhaps Vasco's last one that still feels vaguely naive. Listening to it again today, one is a bit taken aback by the essentiality and strength of some tracks, both in terms of lyrics and arrangements.
Bruce Dickinson Accident In Brazil
Voto:
Can someone explain to the illustrious reviewer the difference between a bootleg and a live?

for ocram: in fact, I realize now that I really messed up the ratings: I wanted to give a 3 to the review and a 2 to the album... it must be teresina... I’ll fix it right away.
Bryan Adams Mtv Unplugged
Voto:
Strange but I have always thought the opposite: Brian Adams' soul has always seemed to me much more electric than acoustic. The disc is just okay.
Bruce Dickinson Tattoed Millionaire
Voto:
The album could have been better if Bruce had chosen a more capable guitarist instead of a "friend" guitarist (which he will do in his later albums), and anyway at the time Janick was not Iron Maiden's guitarist, but he became one precisely because he was sponsored by Bruce after the album and the subsequent tour. Back then, Bruce probably didn't have very clear ideas either, and the album comes off as a bit too uncertain. Accurate review.
Bruce Dickinson Scream For Me Brazil
Voto:
Great album, perhaps a bit too cautious (Bruce could have taken twice the risk, which would have made more sense). Too bad there is so little space dedicated to the songs from Skunkworks, an unfairly underrated album.
The Black Crowes Shake Your Money Maker

great album.
