shitty review of a beautiful album. honestly, we didn’t feel the need for it (the review).
J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton The Road To Escondido

I really liked the album, and I also reviewed it very positively. Anyway, the review is well-written, despite the fact that the judgment is the opposite of mine. And anyway, Clapton has never claimed to be a great composer (even though he has composed some good stuff), but he has always been a tremendous interpreter.

great review: I don't know the album (I only have one disk by mk with "beer for dolphins," nice but not exciting). However, I saw the guy play live back in '95 with the vai band and I must say he's a superb musician, as I had already noticed in the recordings with zappa. One thing is a bit excessive, considering you write "it took him a couple of years of being in the Best Band to learn everything needed to become a great Musician": but come on, to join zappa's band YOU HAD TO BE A GREAT MUSICIAN, being around those geniuses you could only grow, but if you weren't an incredible musician there was no way you'd get to play with frankino!

thank you all for the compliments, and also for the criticism: I realize that batman is not an untouchable album (otherwise I would have given it a 5), especially compared to other masterpieces by Prince, but as you may have understood, I really like it a lot... bye!

ok the joke is over, is it possible that no one has noticed we are facing a fake as big as a house? and hats off to those fools at wikipedia who, as usual, don’t check a thing and get duped by everyone... for the series "I turn off my mac and go back to reading my necronomicon in peace"...

I imagine you are the same person who created the entry on the various wikipedias, congratulations on the idea. I bought this record a few years ago at an old second-hand market, and I must say it is really beautiful. Just think about the luck I had; at the same market, I also found a very rare copy of the necronomicon: talk about luck...

you're wrong to work for free, you should always get paid: these magazines really take advantage of it! anyway, great review: of course the '70s were the years of live albums, real bombs were released! maybe it's because in those years there was a whole different way of approaching the live album... signed: Ubik :D
