Gabriele Salvatores Mediterraneo
Voto:
Mediterraneo is anything but a war movie: aside from this, I rarely came across such a banal and superficial review. With this film, Salvatore definitively concludes his trilogy: after this, pure nothingness.

@alessioiride is absolutely right: it’s a crazy mess (I reconsidered and lowered my rating for the film).
To the sixteen-year-old who wrote the review: it’s been about 10,000 years that teenagers have been getting high (every generation has its own reference drugs), they self-harm, rebel against authority in general and parents in particular, and experiment with sex. If this is the novelty in the film, we’re in good shape. I reiterate that it’s a pile of clichés, and let me give you an example: why don’t they make a movie about the adolescence of two teenage girls? No, explain that to me.
A crazy mess, really a crazy mess... (when I saw it, people in the cinema were extremely embarrassed...)

Very beautiful album, at times poetic (especially if you know who recorded it). Great review, well done.
Black Sabbath The Dio Years

Black Sabbath, like it or not, are Tony Iommi. Period. This compilation is definitely worth very little, I agree, but the review is written really badly, like really badly.

failed film, as always happens when old folks try to analyze a generation that isn't theirs and towards which they feel superior for who knows what reason (this also happens in music: think of the banal and pretentious lyrics of Charlie Fa Surf by Baustelle...). clichés in heaps and tired banalities; after 5 minutes, one already understood where the whole film was heading. there are some interesting glimpses, especially in the imagery and the characterization of the (family?) disastrous family of the naughty girl, but the rest is truly pretentious. a classic film that old people love because it allows them to moralize about new generations (forgetting who they were and what they did), and young people because they even think they are young rebels but "not like the Americans." in short, maybe so, but to me it seems like a bunch of nonsense...
John Guillermin Assassinio sul Nilo

A must-see film for Christie lovers, enjoyable for everyone else. Nice review. (Ustinov is Poirot)
Carlo Vanzina Sapore di mare

A film that has become a part of the common heritage of an entire generation. Well-written review but at times a bit too stretched.

@Slim
All three albums with the Purple are amazing...
Can you imagine a reunion of the MkIII? As it stands today, there’s only Paice in the official "Purple" from that incredible lineup... I know, I know, I'm daydreaming...

Guys, Coverdale is a great talent, let's not kid ourselves... he just has a couple of flaws: he’s quite the flashy guy (but that never hurts in the rock world...) and his voice doesn’t allow for many variations, yet he really has written exceptional albums and songs. He has always had an eye on the market (like everyone who has come up from nothing) and, since he could, he has transformed into what he really is: an old bluesman...
