one of the most terrible and pointless movies I have ever seen. If I think that it is supposed to be something inspired by the masterpieces of patience, it makes me feel queasy...

"Stanley's voice has gone a bit, and age is starting to show, but it doesn't matter because the whole crowd sings along with him" this perfectly explains the pure and crystalline beauty of a rock concert (& roll all night & party everyday!). I wasn’t in Verona, but I’m heading to Milan...

@Blackdog
let's not exaggerate... you know that Brando has done a lot of nonsense to pay off his debts and the lawsuit with the Filipino caregiver... in proportion, Nicholson has always seemed to me to be the one who made better choices...

Great movie, in its own prophetic way, even though, compared to the many idiots clogging the TV today, Pupkin had a certain lucid madness, a sort of distorted awareness of the whole situation. Well-written review, although a bit too long for my taste.

Since we have to talk about rankings of actors, etc., I believe that in the end, Nicholson remains the best: the only one capable of shifting from comedy to drama (even in the same film) and, most importantly, one of the few who has managed to avoid tarnishing his career with terrible movies (shall we talk about De Niro?!?!! he’s been making trash for twenty years...), which is no small feat. Of course, Brando is up there, in the pantheon... No point in discussing Moratti and Inter, otherwise we won’t stop, they still remain the most ridiculous in Italy (and perhaps in Europe).

@Poletti
What are you talking about? Categories? Please, don’t come here acting like a teacher. You can't afford that, especially with someone you don’t know. I’ll repeat it, you’re endearing, and in the end, your nonsense here on Debaser is a pleasant distraction that makes the discussions in the comments more enjoyable.
The point is that rankings make sense only when there are common denominators that, indeed, allow for something to be classified. Your phrase "the 10 greatest of all time" has no meaning: explain to me what parameters you have for defining the "category" of the 10 greatest of all time. This cannot be a category by definition because it is limited from the start. Therefore, it’s a ranking. Come on, lighten up a bit and stop shooting nonsense. You can take advantage of it right now: Rai3 is showing an amazing Piedone in Hong Kong... :D

Poletti, you really are cute. I would say there’s not much to add to what S4Doll has said. The very concept of "the 10 greatest of all time" is complete nonsense... still with this idiocy of rankings...

The best movie adapted from a Marvel comic. I'm glad that Poletti doesn't miss an opportunity to stay silent, this time shooting one of the biggest nonsense I've ever heard: R.D.J. is a great actor, and the fact that he's a well-known drug addict and alcoholic has always made him very likable to me. The point is that he has always preferred to do few films, without killing himself working on tons of crap, as his colleagues tend to do: who can blame him? The only downside of the review: overlooking the film's aesthetic impact, which is nothing short of perfect. Not to mention the perfectly calibrated soundtrack. Oh, be aware that in the next Hulk film, there will also be a cameo from Iron Man that will inaugurate Marvel's first cinematic crossover.

I agree with Il_Paolo, his quantitative analysis is impeccable.
