I am increasingly convinced that there exists a great Reviewer in Italy (or in the World?) who, even before films are released, sets their own narrative to alter the public's perceptions... it happened with Bastardi senza gloria (a mediocre film passed off as a masterpiece), with Shutter Island (a great film dismissed without much thought) and now with Alice...
starting from the fact that it’s a DISNEY film (and therefore it couldn't help but be "manichaean" in its approach), I don't understand why there is so much disappointment... an enjoyable film, beautiful sets, special effects that serve a purpose, imbued with a bit of naivety (but, again, it’s a Disney film), some concessions from the director (the decapitated heads are not very Disney-like)... I’d say a 6/7, not a masterpiece but certainly not a disgrace!
I agree on the unnecessary 3D in this film and, in general, on the redundancy of 3D (as pointless as quadraphonic sound).

Beautiful review, keep it up... "with our serious conversations, only the phone companies get richer"... amazing ;)

Honestly, I don't love Coldplay; I find them highly overrated... but I want to listen to this album, if for no other reason than the legendary Brian had a hand in it ;)

I don't understand the meaning of this album... if it weren't the II, I would rate it as a really great album but... what's the point of redoing Tubular Bells, an almost perfect piece, changing the riffs while keeping the same structure?... who knows!

But in fact, I'm not even saying that the album is "original"... I'm just saying that it's BEAUTIFUL! ;)
