Or are you the new Ungaretti of the review? A concentrated hermeticism?

"British singer showcases the full value of his voice on this work, which remained unexpressed in Maiden due to a musical style that wasn’t quite suitable." - "Don’t expect Blaze to be light years away from the sound of Maiden, because the sacred monsters of British heavy metal are always an unmovable point of reference for him." Basically, you’re saying he didn’t fit in with Maiden because of a sound issue. Then you say this album sounds similar to Maiden. So if 1+1 equals 2, Bayley will suck here just like he did in Maiden. Mumble mumble. In my opinion, this guy is just a piece of human garbage.

Please make sure not to dwell excessively on the reviews as they can create drowsiness. Just like this infinite and complete review. "First album for Blaze, led by former Maiden Blaze Bayley. The British singer showcases all the value of his voice in this work, which remained unexpressed with Maiden due to a musical style not quite suitable. Don't expect Blaze to be light-years away from the sound of Maiden, because the sacred monsters of British heavy metal are always an immovable point of reference for him, and you can hear it in the opener "The Ghost In The Machine," or in the more upbeat tracks "The Brave" and "The Launch." The other songs are a mix of different influences, but you never have the feeling of déjà vu. Particularly noteworthy are "Born As A Stranger," "The Hunger," "Identity," and the concluding "Stare At The Sun." This is an excellent product, well played and even better sung, with great ideas, but without drifting too far from tradition." - There are longer and more explanatory comments on this review. Moreover, based on how you described the album, you should give it 3 stars. And I give it a double 1.

of how it was THE Blaze of the Iron. If someone doesn't want to buy/download it, that's just their problem, right?

I got to see him play in Trezzo (he opened for Satriani) and I must say I didn't mind it: a nice dirty and nasty heavy metal. Great band. He is really rock & roll, quite a big guy and full of energy, after the concert he downed a hundred beers and acted like a buddy with everyone. In his own way, a pretty decent character.

It's a different comment!
His voice has always sucked. Even back in the days of Virtual XI it was clear he was filling a big gap, namely the great Dickinson. I can hardly believe that a solo album of his has anything decent in it.

Well, he has made something nice as a solo artist.. I haven't heard this latest work yet, but from how you describe it, it shouldn't be much different from the previous ones. Nice review :)

Since you disdain the Maiden, then you say that Bayley as a solo artist definitely sucks just because he sang with them. Debaser will become a better site only when some people here stop thinking in stupid clichés and start judging an album for its real value, which can only be attributed after careful listening.

Nice review, but given the cover I would have left it there.. I don’t have particularly nice memories of the Iron Maiden albums (and Bayley’s voice) from the '90s, but I'm sure I'll end up listening to it anyway. Cheers :)

@fullmetalkaoss: just so you know, I didn't even remotely vote for the album out of respect (since I've never heard it). I certainly wouldn’t dream of bothering others

"Honor to the murderer of John Lennon. He freed us from a criminal and from so much other socialist and repetitive music." - You are just a jerk who deserves the same fate or perhaps even worse for this sentence.

Sorry, I hadn't read the review. My fault, but I'm curious. I want to see how far that idiot Schweppes can go. How can he give a 5 to this review? Obviously, he can't read. Or he only looks at the album covers (which, by the way, deserves a 1 too) or, more simply, he has terrible tastes. Which is worse!!!!!!

I am only aware of the vicissitudes between Mayhem and Burzum, but I don't know the wrongdoings of these Deicide. What have they done?

Come on, let's not kid ourselves. This album is qualitatively superior to the vast majority of Italian albums this year, but to give it 5 stars seems excessive to me. In fact, it seems to be the worst album produced by Capa. There’s a slight hint of self-plagiarism, although it doesn’t ruin the album. I think he’s someone with guts, but here he's holding back, getting caught up in clichés and wordplay instead of countering and getting straight to the point: the rot of our country. Bye.
