I saw their concert at Rock Planet about a month ago. I hadn't listened to this band since I was 18. Now I'm almost 26. Back then, I only listened to (thankfully) Ocean Avenue, which I liked a lot. Maybe it's because of my age, etc. I can't tell you the disappointment I felt when I saw them (but especially listened to them). Then there was a bunch of bimbiminkia that I won't even mention. Fortunately, I have evolved my tastes and removed (except for a few memories tied to that time...) their songs. The review seemed honest to me. The comparisons are spot-on for the intention you wanted to convey. Those who wanted to be annoying have no real justifications. I remember downloading this CD from the Mulo and immediately tossing it in the trash out of disappointment, preferring yet another listen to Ocean, even though it was already starting to grate on my nerves. Maybe it’s because we have similar musical tastes, but I always really appreciate both your reviews and the way you write. Bye.
The Vaccines What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?

I like it precisely for the peculiar punk influence reminiscent of R.a.m.o.n.e.s. in many tracks. They are simple and direct.
Matthew Vaughn Kick-Ass

30 Seconds to Mars This Is War

"I 30 Seconds to Mars. Never felt like listening to them. In fact, I actively avoided them. Because 30 Seconds to Mars are Emo, they’re clowns, a trivial punk-pop, maybe even done poorly. One day, however, almost forced by a friend, I downloaded this 'This is War' and started it, ready to fill my ears with crap." - That's enough, right?

Fear Factory Demanufacture

Nu/Death & Industrial metal progenitor. Unique mix. One of the albums that gave birth to Nu Metal, unfairly overlooked for too long.
