The Coldplay are almost completely ridiculous and characterized by a musical dullness like no other... Perhaps even sung masses are less monotonous.

@J&R: I listen to what I like. Undoubtedly, I also listen to bands and/or artists you mentioned, but that doesn't mean I have to ignore others to pass the time. I didn't say they are talents; I didn't idolize the Manchester quartet. I just said that they have made albums of good value. Furthermore, if you constantly have to use the pioneers or the peaks of what is defined as rock & roll as a comparison, we’re in for a long wait in the current scene. A curiosity without presumption or irony: what do you think of the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, for example?

@stoney: that's the same idea I have. For me, being a "metalhead" means not giving a damn about others' judgments and listening to whatever the hell I want. When it comes to dressing, I love wearing what I like. Metal has a lesser sense of shame compared to many other people, an open-mindedness (on one hand) that others don’t have (but also a close-mindedness about other things that many ignore), letting off steam through music instead of going around raping, insulting, criticizing, and/or other stuff... It's just being yourself. Many shy away from it for fear of "looking ridiculous" or appearing brain-dead when they could gain a lot of lessons (not to mention some good healthy pogo/release) at a rock/metal concert, where there is (often and willingly) more respect, despite appearances, than at a rave, a night out at a club, or a debate in Parliament...

"So if being a math teacher is my job and I'm paid for it, I insist until the kid learns. Obviously, I'm 'the teacher,' you are 'the kid.' Since there are no incentives to continue here (like a salary, and the role of teaching), I see no reason to continue this discussion. After all, if I don't teach the kid that 2+2=4, he will figure it out himself sometime later - maybe just after he learns and understands the multiplication tables. The important thing isn’t that he knows that 2+2=4, the important thing is that he knows how to do all the calculations; it becomes irrelevant." - AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! YOU'RE A GENIUS!! AHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HA!

@Yosif: I actually think Yosif isn’t entirely wrong, it just seems to me that he’s never really listened to the album. Do they seem rough? Maybe. Are they? Perhaps. Who cares, I like them. You can spare us the clichés about the essence of commercial music because no matter how you flip the omelet, it ultimately comes down to LIKE IT or NOT LIKE IT (beyond the issue of marketability, which is pointless, otherwise even "The Dark Side of the Moon" or "Back in Black" would be considered trash, which makes no sense). As for the clichés... Well, it's inevitable for metalheads or non-metalheads or advocates of good music: when looking for an outlet, we often resort to clichés, but yours was so absurdly out of place that it was painful to read (common?). Moreover, I’d like to express my opinion on what you said: "attacking classical music is clearly unthinkable, and it's the only thing you got right in that post, it requires the utmost skill." To me, it’s the first example of commercialization since it’s the only music from that era. The result: it has become the reference point for everything that came after. I, for one, don’t like it. It doesn’t evoke any emotion in me. I question that reference.

But issue number 24 has come out and got lost amidst worlds of half classic fantasy and Norse mythology that completely dilute everything, and it seems unclear where it intends to go (if it intends to go anywhere). Anyway, I no longer feel the need for it, and I believe it ended at issue 22 where it says to be continued...(never, I would add). Unfortunately, the other series I passionately follow (Berserk) is also very much late, and the quarterly release schedule takes away the emphasis from the whole story.

Alright. The only thing is that your theatrical and childish attitudes lower the seriousness of this site. That's all. Sorry for the insults. Bye
