I don’t vote because I don’t know what’s stronger in me. The torture my grandmother inflicted on me by making me watch it after school while waiting for DragonballZ (;D) or the nostalgia for those gone days. Because now that we’re grown up, no one will watch us anymore, I hope not? Useless as a stone in the desert!

The latest FIFA 09 is football, while until then the entire PES saga was, dating back to the two ISS PRO chapters for PlayStation One. That's it!... Of course, there was already FIFA before that. We'll see this year who comes out on top. In my opinion, Konami has always had short arms. I mean, they could have overshadowed FIFA by buying the names of players, stadiums, and competitions, and putting more effort into the graphics, but they just wanted to make a lot of money. Now it's only fair that they face competition. The thing is, those who grew up with Pro Evolution now vote only for PES every year without digging into FIFA. It's practically become like supporting a football team: it's something I can't stand! Take off those damn blinkers and be objective, you fools...

It seems inaccurate to criticize this film based solely on its similarity in title to "Do the Right Thing." I have to concede it, but I’ll give it a 2 out of trust, then I’ll revisit it later. From the trailer, it doesn’t seem to aim to pass itself off as anything akin to the "fiery" masterpiece of Spike Lee.

See, everything here is very subjective and s4doll is absolutely right. After a few years, no one is excited to rediscover graphically watered-down games unless they were played and provoked great emotions. You see, I played FF8 as my first in the series, but I wanted to delve into 7 about 5/6 years later (without ever having played it) and it never really captured me, both because of the graphics and the English dialogue, as well as a pace that felt a bit different from the games that came out afterwards.

The thing that makes me ponder the most is that I should wake up in the morning, go downstairs to the bar, grab my cappuccino, flip through a random newspaper, and find the same things there, without needing to search for books on topics of public interest even censored by the (former) public service news (RAI).

Fortunately or unfortunately, I played this around the age of 14 and before I could savor number 7, but I consider it the best Final Fantasy of all time. Yes, I know for many of you it's a shame, but as many have pointed out, age played a role too. I've never played it again for fear of losing the magic that once was, but the nostalgic memory is still alive. C'est la vie.

Out of respect, I don’t vote. I live life. The game, for those who do nothing, might be enjoyable and has marked a turning point whether we like it or not. Personally, I prefer to decapitate heads in some shooter rather than simulate an unreal life in this "thing." Among the useless things, I would add the Tamagochi!
