Metal Church: This Present Wasteland
CD Audio I have it ★★★
The same formula again, standard song structure and a few ideas. That said, it’s another album that’s easy to listen to but quickly forgotten. Sufficient. (6)

The best of Church remain the first two.
Metal Church: Blessing in Disguise
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Wayne-Howe changes the voice. Another great album, although inferior to the previous two. Definitely more heavy-oriented, convincing songwriting with several noteworthy tracks, including "Fake Healer" and especially "Badlands." (7.5)
Metal Church: The Dark
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
For me, the true masterpiece of Metal Church, as well as one of the most beautiful albums of '80s American metal. It’s a work in which certain rough edges from the previous CD have been smoothed out and where everything practically works. Of course, they didn't invent anything, but in terms of songwriting, it's an almost perfect album. Stunning "Watch the Children Pray." (9)
metal church: the human factor
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
The same argument applies to "Blessing In Disguise." (7.5)
metal church: hanging in the balance
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Unjustly underrated album. An absolutely classic heavy metal work that deserves to be cherished. A piece to rediscover within the scope of their discography. However, the cover is frankly horrific. Metal Church has never nailed it with their covers. (7.5)
metal church: masterpeace
CD Audio I have it ★★
First real misstep. Wayne's return contributes nothing; in fact, I’m one of those who feels he’s definitely not in shape on this record. Lacking ideas, without sparks, he recycles the atmospheres of the two previous albums without achieving their results. (5.5)
Metal Church: The Weight Of The World
CD Audio I have it ★★★
Ronny Munroe is now firmly established behind the microphone and he knows how to deliver. Another solid piece of work, heavy as it should be played. It's true that we are now stuck in a fairly well-trodden structure. However, it remains the best album of the latest phase in the career of Metal Church. (7)
Metal Church: A Light In The Dark
CD Audio I have it ★★★
Catchy, well-played, but also listened to a thousand times and too similar to itself. A work of craft. (6.5)
Metal Church: Generation Nothing
CD Audio I have it ★★★
For the past 15 years, Metal Church have been releasing the same album, and this one fits right into the groove of things we've already heard. Craftsmanship, again well-played and clean throughout. A homework assignment. (6)
Metal Church: Metal Church
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Debut album for the Americans, immediately a record to be counted among the classics of overseas metal. A blend of heavy and thrash that reeks of genuine compositional quality, filled with pathos, guitar solutions, rhythm, and anthems. Notable performance by Wayne on vocals. (8.5)
Michael Mann: Insider - Dietro La Verità
DVD Video I have it ★★★★★
Alongside "Heat," Mann's absolute masterpiece and one of the greatest summaries of 90s Cinema. Russell Crowe as he will never be again in the rest of his career and the usual great Pacino. A film of civil engagement without being rhetorical, visually outstanding, technically perfect, with a Mann who mixes alternating editing, over-the-shoulder shots, close-ups, and "shot-reverse shot" from the right side of the face (a Mannian sinthome that will return in all his films). An absolute gem.
