    I remember seeing it as a child and being traumatized. It must be said that I was particularly 'easily frightened' and impressionable. I think nothing has ever scared me as much as this film.

    I also saw it when I was little; doing some quick calculations, I was 7 years old, and yet I liked it indescribably! To this day, it remains one of my favorite movies that I often rewatch with pleasure. I'm so sorry for the bad experience it turned out to be for you.

    I must have been seven years old too; I think the movie came out around that time anyway. We watched it on videocassette at school. I was really very, very easily impressionable and 'frightenable.' So for various reasons, I was somehow really struck by it. Even today, I wouldn't watch it again, can you believe that?
