Or how to improve oneself after a mind-blowing masterpiece like "straight outta Compton." It's a shame they broke up; together they were giants.

    Improve, I don’t know. One thing is for sure, a monolith like "...Compton" could hardly be repeated. The only way was to "diversify the offering," with less tense atmospheres, more varied samples, and sexy grooves. Even some nonsense, though (see the cover of "Automobile" by Parliament), because it’s not like you suddenly become A Tribe Called Quest or Arrested Development.
