Known also as "1987," this album is considered by everyone to be the pinnacle of Whitesnake's discography. For me, it falls just a bit short of "Saints," but the work is of undeniable quality... From "Still of The Night" (with clear references to Led Zeppelin) to "You’re Gonna Break My Heart Again" (not included in all versions), the record is a pleasure to listen to. A note of disappointment for the reworkings of "Crying in the Rain" and "Here I Go Again," as the originals remain the best.

Whitesnake: Slide It In

I gave it a 5 just for sentimental reasons... "Slide it In" is indeed my favorite album by Whitesnake! A fresh, tight Hard Rock with a band in stunning shape! Many of the band's classics are present on this LP. It's not the best (for me, that remains "Saints and Sinners"), but it’s an album absolutely worthy of a listen (indeed, repeated listens...)

It's probably their best work, at least for me... Among the tracks, the original versions of "Crying In The Rain" and "Here I Go Again" stand out (which I definitely prefer over the subsequent reworkings)... The title track, "Young Blood," "Victim Of Love," etc., are also very beautiful; in short, it's an amazing album!
