Death: Spiritual Healing
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Masterpiece! An album too underrated even today...
Death: Scream Bloody Gore
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
My favorite from Death because it emanates a unique aura of wickedness and malice, aided by a raw and gritty recording just enough.
This is where Death Metal is born!
Death: Leprosy
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Masterpiece Death, just like all the albums by Chuck & Co.
Death: Human
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
One of the best albums by Death that competes for the top spot with "Symbolic" and "The Sound Of Perseverance."

The best album by Death and I don’t even want to question my proclamation!!! Find me a better opening trilogy in the discography of Chuck's band. Without taking anything away from Symbolic or Individual...
Deicide: Once Upon The Cross
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Fantastic American Death Metal band.
Masterpiece of the genre...

While acknowledging its value in the musical sphere, the album Legion remains one of the peaks of Death Metal. I've never been able to stand the satanic attitude of the leader Glen Benton, who claimed he wanted to commit suicide when he reached the age of 33: it doesn't seem like he kept his promise...

Legion, Once Upon The Cross, and the little debut from 1990 are their best albums. As for Benton, I can't stand him either... It seems that some people need to draw attention by talking crap rather than playing...

The first two albums by Death are true Gore masterpieces, my favorites with a raw and filthy recording. It's a shame that musical geniuses like Chuck (or Jimi Hendrix, to name one) leave us too soon...

While I appreciate the entire discography of Chuck's band, having seen them live twice, my personal masterpiece remains Human with a terrifying level of technical skill and intensity; not to mention Symbolic and Individual... I can't even imagine how far Death's music could have gone. A truly prodigious band that I will never tire of praising; and then Chuck was born in '67 like me... I see you are a great connoisseur of Heavy Music, and I’m glad to have you join the site: welcome indeed!!!

    Thank you so much!!!
Two Death concerts... how I envy you...
The only thing that really pisses me off is that ever since Chuck died, they keep releasing live albums, EPs, and stuff like that clearly just for profit!

I've seen them twice; always at the Rainbow in Milan, in 1995 for the Symbolic tour, and in 1998 for The Sound of... I remember that the relentless passage of time is making them increasingly pale. If you know Brutality, go read my review from last June.
