Black Sabbath: Black Sabbath
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Metal starts right here!
What are you waiting for?!?!
Black Sabbath: Paranoid
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Without this album, probably 99.9% of current metal bands wouldn't exist...
Blue Öyster Cult: Secret Treaties
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Great album from a '70s rock band that is unfortunately still very underrated to this day...
Blue Öyster Cult: Blue Öyster Cult
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Phenomenal debut of one of the best Rock bands around! Classic and original at the same time!

Underrated band that, although it has produced some questionable albums, I have loved and still love very much.

A band that truly deserves recognition. Of course, they've released some rather commercial albums (like "Club Ninja" from '85 as an example), but they are damn much too underrated given their high creative and expressive potential...

I find the definition "one of the best rock bands around" a bit exaggerated.
Cannibal Corpse: A Skeletal Domain
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Cannibal Corpse: Butchered At Birth
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Pure sound massacre!
Brutal Fuckin' Death Metal!
Cannibal Corpse: Eaten back to life
CD Audio I lack ★★★★★
Spectacular debut of the four cannibals from Buffalo.
The birth of Brutal Death Metal!
Cannibal Corpse: Kill
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Always consistent with themselves and reliable. Not a crucial album in their discography, but excellent: give it a listen, you won't regret it!
Cannibal Corpse: Vile
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Brutal masterpiece.
Cannibal Corpse: Gallery of Suicide
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
The most "experimental" album by the Cannibals.
A masterpiece of the Fisher era alongside "Vile."
Death: Spiritual Healing
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Masterpiece! An album too underrated even today...
Death: Scream Bloody Gore
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
My favorite from Death because it emanates a unique aura of wickedness and malice, aided by a raw and gritty recording just enough.
This is where Death Metal is born!
Death: Leprosy
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Masterpiece Death, just like all the albums by Chuck & Co.
Death: Human
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
One of the best albums by Death that competes for the top spot with "Symbolic" and "The Sound Of Perseverance."

The best album by Death and I don’t even want to question my proclamation!!! Find me a better opening trilogy in the discography of Chuck's band. Without taking anything away from Symbolic or Individual...
Deicide: Once Upon The Cross
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Fantastic American Death Metal band.
Masterpiece of the genre...

While acknowledging its value in the musical sphere, the album Legion remains one of the peaks of Death Metal. I've never been able to stand the satanic attitude of the leader Glen Benton, who claimed he wanted to commit suicide when he reached the age of 33: it doesn't seem like he kept his promise...

Legion, Once Upon The Cross, and the little debut from 1990 are their best albums. As for Benton, I can't stand him either... It seems that some people need to draw attention by talking crap rather than playing...

Anyway, in the Death Metal scene, the best will always be.......look at my avatar and you'll understand...Let the Metal Flow...

The first two albums by Death are true Gore masterpieces, my favorites with a raw and filthy recording. It's a shame that musical geniuses like Chuck (or Jimi Hendrix, to name one) leave us too soon...

While I appreciate the entire discography of Chuck's band, having seen them live twice, my personal masterpiece remains Human with a terrifying level of technical skill and intensity; not to mention Symbolic and Individual... I can't even imagine how far Death's music could have gone. A truly prodigious band that I will never tire of praising; and then Chuck was born in '67 like me... I see you are a great connoisseur of Heavy Music, and I’m glad to have you join the site: welcome indeed!!!

    Thank you so much!!!
Two Death concerts... how I envy you...
The only thing that really pisses me off is that ever since Chuck died, they keep releasing live albums, EPs, and stuff like that clearly just for profit!

I've seen them twice; always at the Rainbow in Milan, in 1995 for the Symbolic tour, and in 1998 for The Sound of... I remember that the relentless passage of time is making them increasingly pale. If you know Brutality, go read my review from last June.
A piece of unforgettable history!
More unique than rare!

    Unfortunately, you are right...
The real Metallica were Mustaine and Burton; without them, it’s clear what happened...
Metallica: ...And justice for all

One of the most technically intricate Thrash albums ever composed after "Rust In Peace." A must-listen at least once in a lifetime!

The live show by Judas, I was too young, but this has turned things around for the near future, yes yes we agree Marga.

CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Pure thrash at 100%
Possessed: Seven Churches
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Well, what can I say?!
An album that has inspired thousands of bands and endless legions of deathsters.
A masterpiece and the best record by Possessed: it’s unlikely they will ever match it again!
A must-have, no excuses!

What more can I say: a very young Larry Lalonde played, he was 17 years old at the time of the recordings, who later went on to form my beloved PRIMUS with Les Claypool. Returning to Possessed, they played Thursday night at the Magnolia in Segrate, in the province of Milan, and a friend of mine went to see the concert. Jeff Becerra has been in a wheelchair for years now but still has the desire to travel the world.
Sodom: Agent Orange
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
A milestone of German Thrash, raw and violent like few others.
Sodom?
One of the best and most reliable bands of the Teutonic Triad along with Kreator and Destruction!
Thrash 'Til Death!!!
Suffocation: Human Waste
File Audio I have it ★★★★★
Undisputed masters of the heaviest and most brutal sound alongside Cannibal Corpse. A must-listen! Just like all the albums in their discography!
Suffocation: Effigy Of The Forgotten
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Brutal debut that’s out of this world!
Venom: Welcome To Hell
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
The precursors of Black.
A debut that, alongside "Black Metal" and "At War With Satan," has consecrated them to legend.

The first two are absolutely fantastic. "At War With Satan," however, I find overrated.
  • FrankZappa22
    27 jul 14
"Welcome to Hell" and "Black Metal" have made history. Despite this, the band's latest releases are quite redundant and predictable.
  • March Horses

and I’d like to add, as is my custom, that the rest of the career sucks. But I’m playing with him on August 9th, no kidding (let me brag a little!)
