one of the few that I've listened to properly. They are heavily criticized, but I really like this album. I found it, if not exactly innovative, quite revolutionary from a standpoint

...from a musical standpoint. A pleasant blend of pop, hard rock, and metal.

Before recording the album, they secured the exclusive rights to the name, thanks to their well-funded lawyers, forcing the dissolution of a great American band with the same name that had two albums under their belt, far superior to the entire discography yet to come from Wetton & C. When I listened to those two albums, a complete antithesis to the commercial project of four opportunists seeking easy money, I thought, "Not only sellouts, but also incredibly stupid."

...but it sold quite well, especially in the States. The album is enjoyable. Four sly ones? I think so. However, at the beginning, Howe truly believed in this project. Then, as we know: he has a tough character and flew away...................
