William Patrick Corgan: Ogilala
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Ogilala brings us back a Billy Corgan in excellent shape. A return to the past to what he has always done well, that big ballad with acoustic guitar, strings, and piano. Part of the credit, I think, should go to Rick Rubin, who has always known how to regenerate artists who had lost their way (J. Cash above all). Billy is back; Billy has grown, but this time not just in age.
Wire: Chairs Missing
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Decadent, cold, claustrophobic Chairs Missing, the second album of an unrepeatable triptych: Pink Flag - Chairs Missing - 154, absolute masterpieces of all music in general, without distinctions of musical genres.
