I walk into Ricordi to buy the Liars album which they didn’t have in stock. I head upstairs to leave, but something sublime reaches my ears. I go back down, “Excuse me, friend, but who are they?” It’s Interpol playing the track Untitled. Love at first sight. The songs and the setlist are of absolute perfection for 21.90 "look at that, and then you complain that records aren’t selling anymore." Buying it was worth it; even after all these years, it’s always a pleasure to hear.

Could you recommend something like Revival Post-Punk or similar that you consider a 5-star from this decade? For example, I really enjoyed the debut album by Prinzhorn Dance School that Tia recommended, as well as Human Performance by Parquet Courts.

Unfortunately, Johnny, I'm not very knowledgeable about the post-punk of this decade.. Tia certainly knows more than I do.. I'm more into psychedelic journeys or ambient/drone offshoots.. sorry.
