Slayer: Reign in blood
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
One of the most important Thrash albums of all time, capable of summarizing the strengths of the genre in half an hour.

Your name sounds new to me... but it doesn’t matter much. An album that literally slays even now... and it’s been almost thirty years... S L A Y E R ...................

You're not wrong, I registered today and I still haven't quite figured out how to use the site, although I managed to send a review (which hasn't been accepted yet btw) :)
Nice profile picture, by the way, long live the Death :D

So welcome to this crazy yet fun world... The Death remains, in my opinion, among the greatest of their genre. As for Slayer, unfortunately, I fear that Hanneman's death is a blow that's hard to recover from... and I consider Lombardo to be one of a kind as a drummer, even though Bostaph is an inhuman machine.

Indeed, right now Slayer are worth half of what they were a year ago; part of me hopes they stop making music, but the other part is happy because this summer I’ll go see them live for the second time...

I've lost count... it should be eight; the last time was around ten years ago, while the first concerts date back to the early nineties. The best will forever remain the show in Milan at Palavobis in 1994, with Machine Head opening... I literally broke into pieces from the furious pogo.

Oh, unfortunately I’m young; I wasn't even born in 1994... I saw them in 2011 at the Big Four in Rho, nothing short of fabulous. By the way, I think Holt is perfect as the guitarist for Slayer, even though I would be sad if he left Exodus.

Nothing to say about Holt as a guitarist... but for the "old" hands like me, that spot will always be Jeff's... and I’ll stop here before I shed a tear... of blood. Of course, their violence in music during concerts still has no equal... and I’m saying this as someone who has seen it all in the metal scene... After all, I'm now 47 years old.

I specify that I was only evaluating Holt from a technical standpoint; I don’t deny that Hanneman was better in many other respects, including compositional. Slayer live are still as brutal as few, it's true, but if they were to release new material, I fear it would sound like a cover band of themselves...
System Of A Down: System Of A Down
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Slightly inferior to Toxicity, but still an innovative album at the time of its release. Among the atypical rhythms of Mind and the melodies of Spiders, the self-titled album definitely hides the most underrated System of a Down, and it's a real shame that many only know Sugar from this album.

The only one from SOAD that I liked.
System Of A Down: Toxicity
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Great album, the best by System of a Down. Energetic and engaging from start to finish, it made me passionate about the band even though I don’t appreciate the genre that much. However, in my opinion, it doesn’t deserve the 5 stars; there’s still something missing, maybe it’s the songwriting being too simple, I’m not sure.
